Terms of sale and use

These terms cover buying from and using this website. The site and store are run by Alec Greene, trading as Bassonic Wizard, of Chicago, Illinois, USA ("we", "us"). Using the plugin itself is covered by the end-user license agreement.

What you are buying

A license to use the Bassonic Wizard plugin, delivered digitally. There is nothing to ship. The license is a one-time purchase that does not expire, works on up to 3 computers at a time, and is governed by the end-user license agreement.

Paying

• Prices are in US dollars, and the price you pay is the one shown at checkout, including any tax shown there.
• Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• You do not need an account to buy. Your license key appears as soon as payment goes through and is emailed to the address you paid with.
• The sale is complete when Stripe confirms the payment. If something goes wrong between payment and your key, write to us and we will sort it out.

Free trial

You can use the whole plugin free for 14 days on each computer before buying, with no account and no payment details. Each computer gets one trial.

Refunds

If you do not like the plugin, ask and you get your money back. You can ask at any time, with no time limit. A refund revokes the license. The refund policy has the details.

Your account

An account is optional. It holds your license key, your downloads and the computers using your license. You sign in with a link we email you, so keeping that email account secure keeps your account secure. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

The pre-launch list

If you join the list before the plugin is on sale, we email you once, when it is. You can ask to be taken off it at any time.

Using the site

Do not attack, overload or try to break into the site or its services, get around its limits, or use it to do anything unlawful. We may block access that does.

Our material

The name, artwork, audio, text and code on this site belong to us or the people we licensed them from. Please do not reuse them without asking.

No warranty and limit of liability

The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available or free of errors, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Our total liability to you for anything to do with the site or a purchase is no more than what you paid us. Where the consumer law that protects you does not allow these limits, they apply only as far as it does.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Cook County, Illinois, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring it at home.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one on this page when you made it, and the date above shows when it last changed.
