Email [email protected]. A person reads every message. It helps to include the address you bought with, your computer and operating system, your DAW, and what you saw. Never send card details; we never need them.

I lost my license key

It was emailed to the address you bought with, under the subject "Your Bassonic Wizard license key". It is also in your account: sign in with that address and we email you a link, no password.

Moving to a new computer

A license works on 3 computers at a time. To move it:

1. Open your account and sign in.
2. Under Machines, choose Free this slot next to the computer you no longer use. It works even if that computer is gone.
3. Enter your key in the plugin on the new computer.

You can free up to 3 slots a day. If you need more than that, write to us.

Activation is not working

The plugin needs to be online once: to start the trial, or to activate your key. If that fails:

• Check the computer is online, then try again.
• Firewalls and security software sometimes block a DAW from the internet. Allow your DAW through, or activate from a network that is not locked down, such as home rather than a studio or office.
• "That license key is not valid": check the key against your email. You can type it in either case, with or without the dashes, and the plugin reads I, L and O as 1, 1 and 0.
• "This license is already on 3 machines": free a slot in your account, as above.
• "This license is no longer active": the purchase was refunded or disputed. If that seems wrong, write to us.

Once activated, the plugin works offline. It renews by itself whenever it is online and can go 90 days between renewals, so a dropped connection never stops your sound. Going somewhere without internet for longer, such as a tour? Open it once while online before you leave.

The free trial

The download is the whole plugin, free for 14 days from the first time it opens on a computer. No account or email needed. Reinstalling does not restart the trial. Buy a key whenever you are ready, enter it in the plugin, and it carries on.
